My name is Graeme Fox, founder of Apex Security Consulting Ltd.

Security has always been more than just a business to me — it is something I genuinely care about. I believe people deserve to feel safe in their homes, businesses, and workplaces, and that good security is about preparation, professionalism, and preventing problems before they happen.

Over time, my interest in physical security grew into a passion for helping others better protect what matters most. Through real-world experience, I developed a practical understanding of risk, vulnerability, and the importance of reliable, visible security measures. This eventually led me to establish Apex Security Consulting Ltd with a simple mission: to provide honest, dependable, and effective security solutions tailored to each client’s individual needs.

One of my specialist areas is equestrian security. Having worked within stable and equestrian environments, I understand the unique security challenges faced by yards, equestrian centres, and racecourses. From protecting horses, tack, and equipment to overnight security, access monitoring, and maintaining a reassuring on-site presence, I recognise that equestrian environments require a specialist approach and genuine understanding.

Alongside my consultancy work, I am also an author of security-focused books, created to help homeowners and businesses identify overlooked vulnerabilities and improve their security in practical, realistic ways. I strongly believe security should be understandable, accessible, and built around real-world needs — not unnecessary complexity.

Outside of business, I believe in giving back through challenge events and charity work. Each year, Apex Security Consulting takes on an Annual Challenge to support a chosen cause, combining endurance, awareness, and fundraising for charities that matter.
